Re-organize

about

It's New Year's Eve (day). I woke up with a musical mantra. I figured if I put it into a song, it would have more power. I wrote it as a tool to hypnotize myself into action. Since I'm now done at 10 a.m. I might stand a chance to actually do it and not just sing about it.

Re-Organize
Words and Music by Michael Alan Silverstone 12/31/12 ©2012 Mr. Silverstone Music Publishing/ASCAP

When you were young
you did what you had to do
and found your way
good for you
I say good for you
but now you know
you can do it in another way
let yourself
reorganize your life

Well, ready now or not
the time has come to change our lives
and overcome the fear
and trust ourselves, trust ourselves
gonna set the course
straight for what we want
when we start to reorganize our lives

Organize the things that are important
oh yeah, oh yeah

Well it’s a long long road
when you think you’re all alone
but benefit in solitude
that’s good for you
good for you
can you remember
there’s good around you too
and the love can help
reorganize your life

Things may look their worst
you don’t have to be afraid
You know what to do
You know you do
You know you do
You are a genius, baby
all the time
Surely you can organize this life

Anytime you want
I will be with you
Anytime you want
you can follow me, follow me
we can go together
or you can go yourself
But I know you can reorganize your life
