Part of the World
Music and Lyrics by Michael Alan Silverstone
©2012 Mr. Silverstone Music Publishing/ASCAP 3/10/12

In the frost of the morning
in the cold of the sky
you are
part of the world
that may know itself alive

In the walk to the center
or a march to the end
you are
part of the world
as is all that you intend

All the time we waited for
a sign that things would change
But was never clear to anyone
Just what we were all waiting for

[Instrumental verse]

We that keep ourselves going
I that travel with you
we remain
part of the world
in spite of all we do
in spite of all we do
